Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide behavioral support and services to students with autism and other behavioral disorders in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify student needs and develop effective intervention plans.
  • Provide direct and indirect behavioral support services to students in various settings, including classrooms and resource rooms.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement effective behavioral interventions and support strategies.
  • Train and support school staff in the implementation of behavior intervention plans and evidence-based practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress through data collection and analysis.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students to address behavioral and social-emotional needs.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.
  • Conduct staff and parent training sessions on behavioral interventions and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, interventions, and services provided.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and best practices in behavior analysis.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.
Requirements
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing behavioral support services in a school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of behavior analysis principles, intervention strategies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and team members.
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
  • Commitment to maintaining professional development and staying current with industry trends.
