Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our interdisciplinary team at STEPS for Kids. As a Pediatric Mental Health Specialist, you will work with children and their families to provide comprehensive mental health services. Your caseload will consist of children ranging from infancy through adolescence with neurodevelopmental and behavioral health disorders.

Our team is committed to providing a neurodiversity affirming and empowering practice. We value collaboration with occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and physical therapists to provide comprehensive care. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to engage in direct clinical work with children, parents, and families, as well as intake and case management, and community networking.

Preferred qualifications include experience working with a neurodiverse population, play therapy, and integrating caregivers into pediatric therapy. We offer a part-time position with opportunities for growth into a full-time position or to remain part-time.

Requirements:

  • Current LCSW license in Illinois in good standing

  • Competency in pediatric evaluations, play-based therapy, CBT, and other therapeutic interventions
