About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Early Head Start Teacher to join our team. As an Early Head Start Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and implementing activities to promote the development of infants and toddlers.

You will work closely with a co-teacher and a classroom aid to provide a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan and implement weekly lesson plans for a classroom of 8 infants or 8 toddlers.
  2. Support the development of infants and toddlers through play-based activities and educational programs.
  3. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
  4. Document observations and progress using Teaching Strategies Gold and Creative Curriculum.
  5. Enhance language development through the use of LENA technology.
  6. Communicate with parents through Procare Software and Remind messaging.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • CDA Certification or 12 College Credits in Early Childhood Education.
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or Psychology.
  • Must be vaccinated against Covid-19 or be willing to get vaccinated prior to start.
  • Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged.
