About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Early Head Start Teacher to join our team. As an Infant/Toddler Early Head Start Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and implementing activities to promote the development of infants and toddlers (ages 6 weeks to 3 years). You will work alongside a co-teacher to support the growth and learning of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement weekly lesson plans for a classroom of 8 infants or 8 toddlers.
  • Support the development of language skills in infants and toddlers through the use of LENA technology.
  • Communicate with parents through Procare Software and Remind messaging.
  • Document observations and track student progress using Teaching Strategies Gold and Creative Curriculum.
  • Collaborate with a team of educators, social workers, and health specialists to provide comprehensive support to our students and families.
Requirements
  • CDA Certification or 12 college credits in Early Childhood Education (required).
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or Psychology (preferred).
  • Must be vaccinated against Covid-19 or be willing to get vaccinated prior to start.
  • Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged.

Compensation

$17-21 hourly wage.
