Job Summary

CIFC's Danbury Early Learning Programs is seeking a qualified Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting in the planning and implementation of classroom activities for preschool children, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate and/or 12 Early Childhood Education Credits, with a preference for AA or BA degree holders. Head Start or Preschool experience is also highly valued. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the planning and implementation of classroom activities
  • Providing a safe and engaging learning environment for preschool children
  • Building strong relationships with families and colleagues
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports
