About the Role:

The Infant/Toddler Early Head Start Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing activities that promote the development of infants and toddlers (ages 6 weeks – 3 years). This includes creating a safe and engaging learning environment, developing lesson plans, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure the highest quality of care.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with children, families, and colleagues.


Essential Job Responsibilities:

Develop and implement weekly lesson plans for a classroom of 8 infants or 8 toddlers

Support the social, physical, and intellectual growth of infants and toddlers

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the highest quality of care

Document observations and progress in Teaching Strategies Gold

Use LENA technology to enhance language development

Communicate with parents through Procare Software and Remind messaging


Requirements:

CDA Certification or 12 College Credits in Early Childhood Education (Required)

Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or Psychology (Preferred)

Must be vaccinated against Covid-19, or be willing to get vaccinated prior to start (Required)

Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged
