Key Responsibilities
  • Determine work procedures and prepare work schedules to ensure efficient workflow
  • Assign duties and inspect work to ensure accuracy, neatness, and adherence to policies and procedures
  • Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Resolve associate issues and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Responsible for the proper cleaning, rack, and distribution of all china, silver, and glassware
  • Maintain required standards of sanitation and cleanliness
  • Review and reinforce operating procedures with team members
  • Minimize breakage of circulating equipment and follow/enforce company policies and procedures
  • Attend department meetings and other company required trainings
Requirements
  • 1 year minimum work-related experience
  • Ability to communicate written and orally in English on an intermediate level
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area at all times
  • Demonstrate ability to lead by example and train and develop employees with limited education/experience
  • Strong customer service orientation and skills
  • Excellent safety and sanitation skills
  • Create a courteous, friendly, professional work environment
  • Ability to work various shifts, holidays, and weekends
Working Environment

The interior of the hotel, in all Food and Beverage areas, with exposure to humidity and extreme temperatures. Exposure to Food and Beverage hazardous cleaning chemicals.

Tools and Equipment

Utility cart, glass racks dollies, gloves, aprons, glass racks, flatware racks, bus tub, mop bucket, mop, broom, dust pan, inventory scale. Ware washer machine and chemicals. China, flatware, and glassware.
