Position Overview

The Real Estate Portfolio Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial, physical, and operational dimensions of a designated portfolio of properties. This role includes supervising staff, reviewing, explaining, and reporting financial statements to supervisors, partners, and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between site and central office, conducting regular meetings
  • Ensure compliance with file management at each property within the portfolio
  • Collaborate with Development on new acquisitions and projects
  • Maintain financial benchmarks, monitoring and analyzing monthly financial reports for each property
  • Conduct bi-monthly site visits to ensure the upkeep of physical assets
  • Supervise assistants, property managers, floating managers, and other site personnel

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year in multi-site property management
  • Familiarity with HUD, TCAC, DFEH, and ADA guidelines
  • Ability to develop and implement budgets and variance reports
  • Strong supervisory experience

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of experience in multi-site property supervision
  • Experience in affordable housing, including HUD, Tax-Credit, RHCP, or working with a Housing Authority
  • Proficient in communication and reporting to regulatory agencies, partners, ownership boards, and senior management

Other Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and DMV clearance
  • Access to a reliable vehicle and maintenance of auto insurance as per EAH standards
  • Current Real Estate license or willingness to obtain one within a specified timeframe
