Job Summary

The Medical Front Desk Receptionist provides essential support and administrative services to the office, doctors, and patients in a fast-paced Doctor's office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient customer service, scheduling, data entry, and patient education.
  • Manage electronic health records, patient flow, and maintain accurate records.
  • Collect deductibles, coinsurance, balances, copays, and sell OTC items.
  • Check AR/AP changes, update records, and maintain multiple doctor's schedules.
  • Assist with office tasks, maintain business office inventory, and equipment.
  • Review billing claims, denials, and collect necessary information from providers or patients.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED equivalent.
  • 2+ years' admin support in a medical environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of health insurance, pre-authorization, insurance verification, medical terminology, CPT codes, and ICD-9 codes.
  • Excellent customer service skills, ability to work under pressure, and maintain professionalism.
  • Technologically savvy with Microsoft Office products, including Google Workspace, Word, Excel.
