Peer Support Specialist

Envision Unlimited is a leading provider of comprehensive care services for individuals with disabilities. As a Peer Support Specialist - Community Care Advocate, you will play a vital role in supporting clients in their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outreach and engagement services to clients participating in the ACT Program
- Share personal experiences and knowledge of the mental health system to engage clients in active treatment
- Facilitate group conversations with clients, family members, and legal guardians about available resources
- Develop and implement treatment plans with clients
- Accompany clients on recreational activities and provide support
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have lived experience with recovery from mental health or addiction
- Working knowledge of the mental health system and Medicaid
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills
