About the Role

Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst or Principal Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team of experts in Aurora, CO.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement Cybersecurity measures based on DoD, NIST, CNSSI, and RMF processes, policies, and guidelines.
  • Work in an Agile Development Environment employing agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Develop and maintain Cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
  • Provide Cybersecurity training and awareness programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience OR Master's Degree with 0 years of relevant experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Active CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT/IAM II certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Linux.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps.
  • Knowledge of audit reduction tools (e.g., SIEM, Splunk Enterprise).
  • Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) NIST and associated NIST SP control families.
  • Knowledge of DISA STIGS, DISA Benchmarks, STIG Viewer, and SCAP Compliance Checker.
  • Knowledge of Agile/scrum and related tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements (e.g., NCSRD, DAAPM, JSIG, etc.) and related risk management processes (e.g., methods for assessing and mitigating risk).
  • Knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Tenable Security Center, Nessus Scanner etc.) to identify, assess, and manage vulnerabilities.
What We Offer

Northrop Grumman offers a competitive salary range of $83,300 - $124,900 and a salary range 2 of $102,400 - $153,600. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
