Key Responsibilities- Develop, draft, interpret, and negotiate complex contracts with government agencies and commercial clients.
- Lead the pre and post contract award process to ensure seamless execution and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide expert advice on contract management and compliance, including international trade compliance (ITAR/EAR).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, and develop strategies to protect company business interests.
- Support new business pursuits and existing contracts, including drafting teaming agreements, NDA's, and license agreements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers, including government agencies and commercial clients.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and changes in contract management and compliance regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in contract negotiation and management, preferably in the aerospace industry.
- Professional certification in Contract Management (CPCM, CFCM, or CCCM) is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
