Job Title: Finance Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly analytical Finance Manager who will be responsible for financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling skills, with the ability to think into the future, weigh possible scenarios, and then bring all that theoretical information down to earth with tangible reports and meaningful insights on business performance. Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
    • Support the Chief Financial Officer in overseeing the family's investment portfolio, including the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for a diverse range of assets such as stocks, bonds, real estate, private equity, hedge funds, and alternative investments.
    • Create presentation materials, investment memos, and financial reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity in charts, tables, and other visuals for management, Board of Directors, Trustee and Family members.
    • Perform ad-hoc analysis where required to assist in management decision making.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Prepare annual operating budgets, forecasts and cashflow projections.
    • Monitor budget performance, analyze variances and identify areas for improvement.
  • Financial Asset Management, Analysis and Due Diligence:
    • Monitor investment manager's performance.
    • Conduct financial analysis on potential investment opportunities, including evaluating financial statements, cashflow projections, performing valuation analysis, market, competition, business model, operations, technology, and intellectual property.
    • Analyze financing options and structures, such as debt financing, equity partnerships, and joint ventures.
    • Prepare investment memos, financial models, and presentations for investment committee review.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field. MBA or CPA desirable.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance roles in a corporate environment or investment industry. Real Estate and Investment experience preferred.
    • Expert in financial modeling and analysis; adept at designing and creating financial reports and presentations.
    • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
    • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
