About Our Clinic

Kipuka o ke Ola is a small, non-profit independent rural health clinic in Waimea, North Hawai’i. We serve the North Hawaii region with a special emphasis on addressing Native Hawaiian health disparities.

We are seeking a highly skilled mental health professional to join our multi-disciplinary team, which includes behavioral health services, primary care services, psychiatric services, transcranial magnetic stimulation services, and Traditional Healing services.

Job Summary

This is a full-time opportunity for a licensed psychologist, social worker, or mental health counselor to provide psychotherapy (in-person and telehealth) to children and adults in our community.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing evidence-based treatments to patients with a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more.

They will also be expected to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.

In addition to their clinical responsibilities, the successful candidate will contribute to the development and implementation of programmatic initiatives aimed at improving mental health outcomes in our community.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • A State of Hawai’i license as a psychologist, social worker, or mental health counselor.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, particularly Native Hawaiians.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
