Job Summary

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Application Analyst and Data Integrity Specialist to join our Medical Records Department. This role is responsible for the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of assigned applications used by Health Information Management (HIM). The successful candidate will ensure accurate EMPI data through regular audits and merge duplicates as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate electronic health record (EHR) implementation processes, including vendor liaison, workflow and integration analyses, user training, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide requested information to medical center departments and outside entities digitally, via telephone, fax, mail, or in person.
  • Scan and retrieve data into/from electronic documentation systems.
  • Monitor office supply inventories and submit orders to Materials Management as needed.
  • Collaborate with Information Systems Department and system vendors to troubleshoot and help resolve issues.
  • Participate in department quality projects and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Efficiently manage time and organize workload to maximize medical center and department resources.
  • Communicate with providers and other medical center departments as needed to facilitate documentation integrity and completion.
  • Lead co-workers in day-to-day department activities as directed by Manager, or in Manager's absence.
Requirements
  • Associate degree, vocational certificate, or other post-secondary coursework in a healthcare-related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare office setting.
  • Leadership/supervisory experience preferred.
