Key Responsibilities:
As a Manager of Hydraulic Structures/Tunnels, you will:
1. Oversee various management, leadership, and accountability responsibilities for a specific technical group or department.
2. Take full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating technical assignments.
3. Utilize multi-disciplinary engineering knowledge to plan and develop tasks addressing unique or complex challenges.
4. Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders, acting independently on technical matters.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
- A BA/BS degree with 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent education.
- Professional Engineer Licensure or equivalent credentials.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 15+ years of relevant experience in hydraulic structures/tunnels.
- Active California PE License.
- Proven experience in managing engineering teams and support staff.
- Strong self-motivation and ability to independently drive projects to completion.
- Advanced degree in a related field.
- Experience in marketing and business development.
- Exceptional leadership and managerial skills.
- Strong business acumen and networking capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Established connections within the dam industry with a recognized profile among clients.
- A disciplined and motivated approach with flexibility and multi-tasking abilities.
