CORVEL is seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Risk Specialist to join our team. As a Healthcare Risk Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing initiatives surrounding assessing the severity of reported injuries, reviewing medical data, and validating medical information. Your expertise will serve as a nurse consultant, supporting the goals of the Claim Management department and of CORVEL.

This is a remote opportunity with a competitive salary range of $58,282 - $93,870. As a key member of our team, you will be expected to assess and evaluate prescribed treatment of work-related injuries, and ensure that injured workers receive timely and effective care.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and laws, with the ability to write and speak clearly, easily communicating complex ideas. You will have experience managing multiple, complex projects concurrently while working under pressure to meet production standards deadlines and maintaining strong customer service orientation.

A minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience and current unencumbered RN licensure are also necessary. You will work closely with the claim team to assist in identifying potential red-flags from the injury that may require further follow-up or additional services.
