Position Overview:

Role Responsibilities:
As a Software Package Manager, you will oversee the management of software package processes essential for advanced satellite ground systems.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating the transfer of software between environments while ensuring compliance with security protocols.
- Collaborating with skilled engineers and leaders in a dynamic Agile setting.
- Implementing best practices in software lifecycle management for large-scale defense initiatives.
Learning Opportunities:
In this role, you will gain insights into:
- Modern DevSecOps methodologies and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices.
- Technologies related to satellite ground systems, including command and telemetry, flight dynamics, and spacecraft operations.
Essential Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in software engineering.
- Proficiency in software package management processes, including repository management and vulnerability scanning.
- Familiarity with tools such as Maven, Docker, Helm, and Git.
- Active U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is mandatory.
- U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CompTIA Security+ certification.
- Experience in software development using Java.
- Knowledge of Test Automation and CI/CD frameworks.
- Experience with legacy software systems and associated tools.
