OVERVIEW:
PATH IHC is seeking a dedicated and fully licensed clinician to join our adolescent day treatment program. Our focus is on supporting at-risk youth who face a variety of challenges in both day treatment and intensive outpatient settings.
This role involves direct engagement with adolescents aged 12-17 in both individual and group therapy sessions, as well as collaboration with their families and caregivers.
This position emphasizes teamwork, allowing you to manage your own caseload while working alongside a diverse group of clinicians, medical providers, and behavioral specialists. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitate the therapeutic development of adolescent clients and their families.
- Oversee a caseload of 5-8 individual clients, in addition to leading group therapy sessions for up to 12 participants.
- Conduct clinical counseling, diagnostic assessments, and develop comprehensive treatment plans for children, adolescents, and adults.
- Deliver evidence-based individual, group, and family therapy in a supportive and stigma-free atmosphere.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to create tailored treatment strategies that ensure holistic support for clients.
- Engage in continuous professional development to remain informed about best practices and emerging trends in mental health care.
- Promote mental health awareness and equitable access to services within the community.
- Respect and honor the cultural diversity, religious beliefs, and personal values of clients and their families in alignment with our organizational mission.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
A Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
Licensure:
Candidates must hold one of the following licenses: LMFT, LCSW, or CMHC.
Experience/Skills:
A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is required.
Physical Requirements:
This role requires the ability to work under pressure and adapt to irregular hours. Candidates should be able to sit for extended periods, view computer screens, and perform keyboarding tasks.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for professional interactions via phone and in writing. Strong grammar and writing abilities are crucial for effective communication with clients and colleagues.
Technical Skills:
Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, telemedicine platforms, and any additional software used by the organization, ensuring efficient management of client information. Fine motor skills and adept handling are necessary for various tasks.
