We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Youth Programs Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, marketing, and communicating all on-ice hockey camps, clinics, programs, and events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, schedule, market, and communicate all Youth Programs Department, Ice Hockey Camps, Clinics, Programs, and Events.
  • Assist the Director of Youth Hockey in coordinating all youth hockey programs, including summer camps, holiday camps, clinics, and learn to skate, learn to play, and continue to play programs.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all IGF requirements and standards, as well as all sponsor requirements and standards.
  • Ensure sufficient staffing for all youth events, including participating in such events as a lead instructor.
  • Maintain a detailed inventory of youth programs ice hockey property.
  • Assist with Junior Jazz, Jazz Camps, and Clinics or other youth basketball programs as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 2 years' youth hockey experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain relationships with a varied group of individuals.
  • Self-starter, with the ability to manage several projects at once, in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work long hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Physical Demands
  • This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally.
  • This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate, and assess.
  • This person must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time.
  • This person must be able to lift 25 lbs.
