Job Title: Customer Support Manager

The Customer Support Manager plays a crucial role in representing Nuss Truck & Equipment to existing and potential customers by matching our products and services to their needs. This position requires a strong understanding of heavy-duty truck and equipment parts and services, as well as excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Promote and sell heavy-duty truck and equipment parts and services
  • Respond to technical needs and provide product update information
  • Manage customer relationships, including whole goods sales leads
  • Respond to customer communications via phone, email, and in-person
  • Provide and follow up on quotes for parts, service, and training
  • Use a CRM database to track sales activity and stay connected to customers
  • Meet with existing customers on a regular basis to assess their needs
  • Grow and expand current accounts
  • Work with Parts, Service, and Sales to troubleshoot problems with customers
  • Meet with new customers within a recommended timeframe
  • Ensure company vehicle is properly maintained and registered
  • Complete and submit vehicle inspection reports daily
  • Report any issues or repairs needed for company vehicle to Parts Manager
  • Complete call reports daily
  • Submit returns promptly
  • Assist Parts Department by covering shifts when needed
  • Maintain internal and external cleanliness of company-provided vehicle
  • Stay up-to-date with bulletins and product knowledge
  • Complete company training within timeframe requirements
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Five years industry parts and service experience
  • Technical knowledge of 2007 and newer trucks and construction equipment and onboard computer systems and software
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other web applications
  • Valid driver's license - CDL preferred
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule when customers are available
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

Will drive company-provided vehicles six to ten hours per day. Will lift and transport parts weighing up to and/or exceeding 70 pounds on an as-needed basis. Will be exposed to noise, dust, exhaust fumes, etc.
