Position Summary
The selected candidate will undertake a variety of responsibilities within an industrial manufacturing setting. This role involves ensuring that all machinery operates safely and efficiently by executing preventative maintenance tasks, interpreting diagrams, consulting operational manuals, and diagnosing equipment failures.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe operational condition of facility machinery, buildings, and surrounding areas.
- Construct necessary fixtures as required.
- Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and inspections on equipment.
- Repair machinery, fixtures, buildings, and grounds as needed.
- Safely remove and/or install fixtures and equipment to maintain efficient operations.
- Diagnose system failures and propose effective repair solutions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and operational efficiency of maintenance tools and equipment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Forklift training and certification will be provided as necessary.
- A minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience is preferred.
- Experience with injection molding machinery is advantageous.
- Welding skills are preferred.
- Strong understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems is essential.
- Ability to read and interpret basic machine blueprints.
- Proficient in using hand tools and basic machine shop equipment.
- Capability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Compensation and Benefits
- The hourly wage for this position ranges from $27 to $32.
