Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the ideation process for projects, focusing on specific products and needs.
  • Assist in various tasks under supervision that guide a product, system, or sample book from development to launch.
  • Analyze specific processes to identify areas for improvement, as directed by cross-functional teams.
  • Collect data and insights from team members to make informed decisions regarding the product line.
  • Potentially lead small-scale projects while supporting larger initiatives.
  • Communicate product channel differentiation to consumers, sales teams, dealers, and installers.
  • Conduct requested analyses and report on key findings that may reveal trends in product performance and competition.
  • Understand product features, benefits, and user applications, recognizing product positioning within the category hierarchy and its relation to the master brand.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects aimed at enhancing product quality, communication with dealers, sales, consumers, and internal process improvements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in product management and demonstrated project management skills, preferably in a manufacturing context.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the Consumer Goods sector.
  • Basic understanding of financial principles to prepare budgets and comprehend costs associated with product line extensions and enhancements.
  • Actively contribute to team dynamics by being engaged in meetings, training sessions, and collaborative events.
  • Possess basic presentation skills, including verbal and written communication, with the ability to create visual presentation content.
  • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with project management tools is advantageous.
  • Demonstrate a foundational understanding of product development processes and relevant technologies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite.
