Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to equipment failures in a timely and efficient manner to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
  • Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to extend the lifespan of our equipment.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members, production staff, and leadership to ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide training and support to production staff on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Identify and report safety concerns and incidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Communicate effectively with production staff and leadership to ensure clear understanding of maintenance needs and priorities.
  • Execute work orders in a timely and cost-effective manner, and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards for tool cleanliness and inventory management.
Requirements
  • English language proficiency (reading and writing), with bilingual skills in Spanish (reading and writing) highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, automated equipment, PLC/logic control, and HVAC systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to read and understand blueprints, parts breakdowns, schematics, and electrical prints.
  • Goal-oriented team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow food safety handling procedures (SQF) and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in a related industry and on related equipment.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment.
Work Environment
  • On-site work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
