Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Configuration Management Specialist to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a Configuration Management Specialist, you will be responsible for administering support services for projects and programs, maintaining project information for project managers and directors, and providing Configuration Management (CM) support to the team and projects related to the design, development, and production of complex systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer support services for projects and programs, ensuring timely updates to Technical Data Packages.
  • Maintain project information for project managers and directors, including configuration item data and drawing package changes.
  • Provide Configuration Management (CM) support to the team and projects, including conducting Physical Configuration Audits (PCA) and implementing CM processes in accordance with CM plans and industry standards.
  • Support Configuration Control Boards (CCB) by compiling CCB change request data, facilitating the CCB agenda, and generating meeting minutes.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) systems and prepare CSA reports as required.
  • Track Technical Directive (TD) implementation for approved changes and support the establishment and maintenance of production baselines.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of configuration management practices and industry standards.
  • Ability to display expertise in learning configuration management to promote the advancement of the programs supported.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • HS diploma or GED and 6+ years of experience working in a professional environment, Associate's degree and 4+ years of experience working in a professional environment, or Bachelor's degree and experience working in a professional environment.
  • Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of technical data as it relates to the design, operation, and maintenance of complex systems.
