Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team at Victory Food Service. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and managing established as well as new customers, by selling food and non-food items to meet or exceed sales and profitability goals.

About Us
Victory Food Service is a broadline distributor with a cash n carry operation delivering quality food, service and custom solutions to foodservice operators and restaurants throughout the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut markets.

Sales Responsibilities
* Develop new business: Identify prospective customers by utilizing market intelligence databases, as well as business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations, clubs and attending trade shows and conferences.
* Manage deliveries to the routing schedule published by the transportation department; troubleshoot any problems that occur during the order process (e.g. delivery mispicks, short on loads, stock-outs).
* Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary, working with the credit department and client; collect all balances due based on approved credit terms.
* Drive your vehicle to existing customers, and prospects, to ensure product delivery , which may include lifting/carrying up to 75lbs

Requirements
* 2+ years of sales experience preferred.
* Foodservice industry/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality experience preferred.
* Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business.
* Competitive spirit and results driven mentality.

Salary Range
The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
