Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

Job Description

The Patient Experience Ambassador will play a crucial role in supporting the mission of The Christ Hospital Health Network. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining relationships with patients, family members, and guests, and providing warm hospitality when communicating in person, over the phone, and via electronic means.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and excellent active listening skills. He or she will be able to communicate and work effectively across different healthcare disciplines and teams, and will have innovative thinking related to the development of programs/systems that support continuous quality improvement and The Christ Hospital's Mission, Vision, and Values.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, maintains, and cultivates relationships with patients, family members, and guests.
  • Provides warm hospitality when communicating in person, over the phone, and via electronic means.
  • Communicates with department manager and patient and guest services, keeping a pulse on patient experience daily, and reporting out at least weekly.
  • Collects and integrates encounter-level experience data to help inform evidence-based strategies, improve processes, and help design interventions leading to better patient experiences.
  • Maintains and develops collaborative relationships with team members on their unit and different stakeholders at TCHHN.
  • Attends unit huddles and team meetings.
  • Sends Gratitude Grams, appreciation cards, or emails to recognize team members who went above and beyond in exceeding patient and family expectations.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: High School Diploma/GED

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Strong interpersonal skills, exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, excellent active listening skills, ability to communicate and work effectively across different healthcare disciplines and teams, innovative thinking related to the development of programs/systems that support continuous quality improvement and The Christ Hospital's Mission, Vision, and Values.
