Behavioral Health Technician II

Our services range from residential treatment to outpatient counseling, psychiatry, trauma care, and substance misuse treatment, with a focus on providing individualized, integrated care to meet the unique needs of each individual.
Job SummaryThe Behavior Health Technician II assists the counseling, therapeutic, and nursing staff by providing clinical support to adults and children receiving substance abuse, mental health services, or co-occurring disorders in residential programs, inpatient settings, day/evening programs, outpatient programs, and community-based programs.
Key Responsibilities- Establish a positive helping relationship with individuals receiving services.
- Assist individuals in completing activities of daily living, including accessing needed resources and building functional, pro-social relationships with others.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of individuals receiving services.
- Implement specific interventions according to the individual's treatment or service plan.
- Monitor and document individual progress.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- At least one year of experience working directly with seriously emotionally disturbed children or seriously mentally ill adults, or completion of one year (24 hours) of college classes.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.
- Valid driver's license from the state in which you reside, a good driving record, and insurability under the corporate policy.
Base pay ranges from $16.12 an hour based on experience, with shift differential pay ($2.00-$4.00) if applicable.
