About the Position

COC Consulting is seeking a part-time phlebotomist to join our team in Medford, OR.

The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting patient blood and/or urine specimens, preparing them for testing, and ensuring specimen integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect patient blood and/or urine specimens using established procedures
  • Properly prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
  • Verify urine and blood test requisitions
  • Identify patients before any specimen is obtained
  • Label and document specimens to prepare for shipment
  • Maintain daily tallies of collections performed
  • Track and request laboratory and office supplies needed to fulfill duties
  • Provide site-specific procedural training to new employees
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency
  • Computer and technology proficient
  • Valid driver's license and car insurance
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check
