Bilingual Field Interviewer

RTI International is seeking part-time field interviewers for the National Household Enumeration Study (NHES). The study involves collecting data about television viewing and household composition through in-person screenings and interviews.
Responsibilities- Conduct in-person screenings and interviews with respondents
- Travel to selected locations to recruit study participants
- Collect confidential information and administer standardized questionnaires
- Manage administrative duties, including participating in conference calls and completing online trainings
- Transmit data as scheduled
- Must be at least 21 years old at the time of employment
- Must possess a High School Diploma or GED
- Possess effective communication skills through speech and listening
- Fluency in both English and Spanish through reading, writing, and speaking
- Available for entire training and data collection period
- Able to successfully complete training
- Positive, self-motivated, curious, and enjoy interacting with people from culturally-diverse backgrounds
- Effective time, schedule, and workload management skills to meet set deadlines
- Computer skills, namely email and internet proficiency
Field interviewers are required to complete trainings, which include successfully passing project required trainings and attending all trainings. Travel distances can average 50 to 75 miles from residence.
