We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Manager to oversee the management of our multifamily properties. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successful regional property management experience and a strong understanding of property maintenance, marketing, and insurance.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and coordinate a communication system among Property Managers and the Central Office.
- Hire, train, supervise, develop, and terminate the employment of those supervised in accordance with company policies and directives.
- Monitor, assist, and make recommendations to improve marketing activities; review occupancy status; recommend rent schedules.
- Review/audit property administrative, accounting, and maintenance areas to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Resolve resident relation issues.
- Inspect properties to ensure the highest standards are maintained; evaluate maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping operations in areas of efficiency.
- Supervise and coordinate preparation of annual operating and capital budgets.
- Review and approve expenditures within specified budgetary guidelines.
- Negotiate and/or evaluate contracts and make recommendations.
- Establish/revises property management forms, reports, and manuals.
- Prepare and conduct meetings as necessary.
- Participate as a member of the Development Team in design, unit mix, establishment of rent rates, and other such operational matters.
- Participate in local and regional trade associations.
- Bachelor's degree or job experience may substitute for degree.
- Certifications Preferred/Required: CAM, CPM/ CA Real Estate License.
- Knowledge of apartment property management experience in a five to seven year range as a Regional Property Manager is a must including three years on-site property manager experience.
