We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Manager to oversee our Luxury Multifamily Portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful regional property management experience and a strong understanding of property maintenance, marketing, and insurance.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and coordinate a communication system among Property Managers and the Central Office.
- Hire, train, supervise, develop, and terminate the employment of those supervised in accordance with company policies and directives.
- Monitor, assist, and make recommendations to improve marketing activities, review occupancy status, and recommend rent schedules.
- Review and audit property administrative, accounting, and maintenance areas to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Resolve resident relation issues and inspect properties to ensure the highest standards are maintained.
- Supervise and coordinate the preparation of annual operating and capital budgets, monitor and make recommendations on budget performance, and prepare monthly or quarterly summary reports.
- Review and approve expenditures within specified budgetary guidelines, negotiate and/or evaluate contracts, and make recommendations.
- Establish and revise property management forms, reports, and manuals, including updates, changes, and additions.
- Prepare and conduct meetings as necessary and participate as a member of the Development Team in design, unit mix, establishment of rent rates, and other operational matters.
- Participate in local and regional trade associations and travel as required.
- Bachelor's degree or job experience may substitute for degree.
- Certifications Preferred/Required: CAM, CPM/ CA Real Estate License.
- Knowledge of apartment property management experience in a five to seven year range as a Regional Property Manager is a must, including three years on-site property manager experience.
