About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our team at Cavalier Ford At Chesapeake Square. As a Service Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring that our customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that customers are satisfied with their experience.
  • Keep customers updated on vehicle repair progress and ensure that they are informed throughout the process.
  • Manage repair workflows and work with the team leader to ensure that repair deadlines are met.
  • Oversee service orders and the flow of the Drive Lane to ensure that customers receive prompt and effective service.
  • Take ownership of the customer's experience and carry out additional assignments to leave a positive impression.
  • Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries and ensure that customers are not mishandled.
  • Ensure that the daily inventory of technicians' time is consistently sold to service customers.
  • Distribute work between technicians efficiently and answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs.
  • Maintain the Customer Success Index at or above company standards and assist in diagnosing vehicle problems.
  • Oversee the administration of warranty claims and train and supervise the service department.
  • Reinforce company policies and adhere to company standards, encouraging compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with factory(s) and foster positive employee relations.
Qualifications
  • 3 Years minimum experience as an automotive dealership service advisor - Domestic Experience Preferred.
  • Organized and friendly personality.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage others.
  • Time management skills.
  • Fantastic communication skills with customers.
  • Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
  • Consistent record of service and sales success.
  • Strong record of positive customer satisfaction results.
  • Team-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Able to work with little supervision.
  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
