Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Wellbridge Addiction Treatment and Research. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support our organization's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary and specialty care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of medical conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account patient needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Conduct health education and promotion activities to support patient empowerment and self-management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse Practitioner in New York State.
  • BLS certification, with ACLS or other certification as required by department.
  • Demonstrated understanding of clinical risk and ability to maintain professional conduct.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Buprenorphine waiver (DATA 2000) or ability to obtain within three months of employment.
  • National certification in nurse practitioner specialty (ANCC, AACP, or NAPNAP).
  • Clinical experience providing treatment for addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders.
  • Experience working in addiction inpatient, rehabilitation, and/or residential environments.
  • Strong problem-solving, conceptual, analytical, and communication skills, with ability to create a positive and respectful work environment.
