Virginia Commonwealth University Health System's Primary Care Clinic is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Richmond. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our clinic.

Job Summary

This part-time LPN position requires a 20-hour weekly commitment. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, with some flexibility. You will not be required to work weekends, nights, or holidays.

About the Role

The LPN will assist the healthcare team in preventing illness and injury, maintaining wellness, and providing comfort to patients. This role involves delivering direct age-specific care to patients based on medical orders and a multidisciplinary plan of care. The LPN will also safely administer prescribed medications, identifying potential interactions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • LPN licensure in Virginia or eligibility for licensure">
  • AHA BLS certification or equivalent">
  • Graduation from a Board of Nursing-approved School of Practical Nursing">
  • Varying experience based on transitional duty assignment">
