Job OverviewThis role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, overseeing the clinical management of patients across both skilled and non-skilled agencies. As a Private Duty LPN Clinical Supervisor, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized care plans, conducting regular assessments, and ensuring all clinical practices adhere to established medical guidelines and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Management:
- Hire, train, and evaluate private duty nurses and caregivers.
- Schedule and coordinate staff to meet patient needs efficiently.
- Patient Care Oversight:
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Ensure all clinical practices adhere to established medical guidelines and standards.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all operations comply with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Crisis Management:
- Address and resolve issues or emergencies in patient care.
- Provide guidance and support to staff during challenging situations.
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A current LPN license in the state where services are provided.
- At least 1-3 years of experience in a home healthcare or private duty setting.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- An ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
