Position Overview

Reporting Structure

The Technical Support Specialist will report directly to the Technology Director.

Role Summary

This position is tasked with providing comprehensive technical assistance to end-users, alongside maintaining and managing equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities

· Responsible for overseeing and sustaining the computer systems and networks at Electrical Power Products.

· Offer assistance to all personnel, which includes configuring, managing, updating, and troubleshooting a variety of technological devices.

· Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting on the network, VOIP communication systems, Wi-Fi, and other IT infrastructure components.

· Collaborate with external support services to escalate and resolve intricate issues.

· Establish and manage user accounts and profiles.

· Investigate, test, and assess new technological solutions.

· Maintain inventory management systems and provide networking support.

· Execute account management, user training, and server upkeep.

· Contribute to the organization’s Strategic Plan.

Qualifications

· A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.

· Proficiency in Windows Networking, Active Directory, and Cybersecurity principles.

· Proven experience in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and support capabilities.

· Basic knowledge of various Information System frameworks, including ISO 27001 and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.

· Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.

· Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

Physical Demands

· Regularly required to sit, grasp items, and perform keyboarding for computer operations.

· Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, or otherwise move about frequently.

· Occasionally lift, move, or transfer items weighing up to 30 lbs.

· May encounter typical physical hazards associated with manufacturing environments.
