CRNA - Jefferson Medical Center Anesthesia Provider

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at Jefferson Medical Center. As a CRNA, you will provide high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
Responsibilities- Administer anesthesia to patients, ensuring their safety and comfort during surgical procedures.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and physical responses to anesthesia, taking corrective action as needed.
- Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to develop and implement anesthesia plans.
- Provide pre-anesthetic evaluations, selecting appropriate anesthetic agents and techniques.
- Insert intravenous catheters, invasive monitoring catheters, and perform endotracheal intubation and extubation as needed.
- Document patient status in the anesthesia record, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Perform safety and performance checks on anesthesia-related equipment, verifying appropriate supplies before initiating care.
- Communicate effectively with the surgical team, patients, and families to ensure seamless care.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of West Virginia.
- Board Certified or Recertified by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound judgments in high-pressure situations.
