Healthcare Assistant

Care for patients in a rehabilitation setting, providing basic nursing assistance and maintaining a safe environment. We are seeking a compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at the Scranton Rehab Hospital.
About the Role:
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant course, and PA state certification. Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will be 16 years of age or older and CPR certified. Good communication skills and ability to maintain patient confidentiality are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living
- Provide basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Float between units and locations as needed
