Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team at Geisinger Health. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.

This is a full-time position with 36 hours per week, working varied shifts including days, evenings, and weekends. You will be responsible for performing direct patient care activities, such as assisting with daily living tasks, taking vital signs, and transporting patients. You will also work collaboratively with our nursing staff to provide excellent patient care and outcomes.

In addition to your clinical skills, you will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, communicating effectively with patients and families, and supporting the overall efficiency of our healthcare team.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., nursing, healthcare administration)
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six months of hire
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will be eligible for a range of benefits, including:
