Associate Director for Leadership Development

The University of North Carolina at Greensboro is seeking a highly qualified Associate Director for Leadership to join our team. This is a key leadership position that will play a critical role in developing and implementing leadership development initiatives across the university.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive leadership development framework that aligns with the university's strategic goals.
- Provide leadership and oversight to the Office of Leadership and Civic Engagement, including supervising staff and managing budgets.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to design and deliver leadership development programs and initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to advance leadership development and civic engagement.
- Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of leadership development programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay current with best practices in leadership development and civic engagement, and apply this knowledge to inform program design and implementation.
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as higher education administration, leadership development, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in leadership development, higher education administration, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including students, faculty, staff, and community partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Ph.D. in a relevant field, such as higher education administration, leadership development, or a related field.
- Experience in program evaluation and assessment.
- Knowledge of leadership theory and best practices in leadership development.
- Ability to create and deliver effective instructional presentations for faculty, students, and community partners.
