Job Overview

The RPC Company is seeking a highly skilled Financial Claims Specialist to join our team in Dallas. This role offers a unique opportunity to utilize your expertise in healthcare revenue cycle management, medical insurance, and claim processing.

About the Job:

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in health insurance billing software applications, Microsoft Office, and medical terminology. As a Financial Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing claims, posting payments, and resolving credit balances with insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and process claims accurately and efficiently
  • Post payments and manage credit balances
  • Communicate with insurance companies to resolve issues
  • Maintain detailed records of claims and payment history

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 2+ years of experience in medical/healthcare environment
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with health insurance billing software applications/web-based systems
  • Knowledge of EOBs, modifiers, global periods, and medical necessity guidelines
