We are seeking an experienced field investigator familiar with Non-Standard Auto Claims, SIU, or possessing a strong background in Loss Prevention. This role requires confidence and ability to obtain and uncover challenging information in diverse environments. We are looking for a Part-Time candidate to expand our coverage area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting insurance claims investigations, including taking recorded claimant and witness statements, and performing scene investigations
  • Completing complex claims investigations
  • Reviewing assignments and supporting documentation to determine case objectives and client expectations
  • Daily submission of updates regarding work performed on each case
  • Maintaining sufficient client billable hours
  • Preparing and dictating detailed investigation reports
  • Meeting strict deadlines
  • Attending and testifying at hearings
Requirements and Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

  • A self-starter mentality with accountability for results and performance
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Effective communication and active listening skills
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently from a home-based office with flexible hours
  • Computer literacy and valid driver's license
  • Minimum auto insurance ($100,000 each person/$300,000 each accident bodily injury/$50,000 property damage) with business use coverage and a good driving record
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or related field
  • Experience in investigation of Life Insurance and Disability claims, Workers Compensation, product/auto/general liability claims, and contestable death claims (Minimum 4 years experience in claims investigations preferred)
  • AOE/COE investigative experience
  • Field investigations experience – Face-to-face statements
  • Loss Prevention experience
  • General knowledge of insurance law
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish and English preferred
