Insurance Business Development Specialist

**Job Summary**
This role is responsible for generating new business opportunities and developing relationships with clients to sell insurance products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the insurance industry and be able to effectively communicate with clients to meet their needs.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Prospect new clients and develop marketing plans to attract new business
- Quote and sell new business, as well as cross-sell additional products and services
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and product knowledge to provide expert advice to clients
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Appropriate insurance licenses
- Three years of experience in the insurance industry or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel, including overnight
