At Grange Insurance Association, we're seeking a skilled Software Engineer 2 to join our team in Seattle. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with cross-functional teams, delivering high-quality, automated document generation solutions that meet business needs.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle Documaker, including expertise in designing, developing, and implementing document generation solutions. You'll develop, customize, and maintain document templates using Oracle Documaker tools, ensuring they meet business requirements and compliance standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, customizing, and maintaining document templates using Oracle Documaker tools;
  • Ensuring templates meet business requirements and compliance standards;
  • Collaborating with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and document requirements;
  • Translating requirements into technical specifications and designing solutions accordingly;
  • Developing test cases and conducting thorough testing to validate document templates and system integrations;
  • Overseeing the deployment of Documaker solutions and ensuring successful implementation;
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for developed solutions;
  • Ensuring document generation solutions adhere to organizational policies, industry regulations, and security standards;

As a Software Engineer 2, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from developing new document templates to enhancing system functionality and performance. You'll also collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs.

We're looking for a candidate with at least 3+ years of experience in software development and 2+ years of experience with Oracle Documaker. You'll have proficiency in Documaker Designer, Documaker Studio, and Documaker Server, and familiarity with scripting and programming languages used in Documaker, such as C# or .NET and XML.

In addition to technical skills, we're looking for a candidate with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
