Job Summary:

The Team Member Service Ambassador is a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for all guests. This position is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by providing friendly, accurate, and efficient service both in-store and through the drive-thru, while upholding the cleanliness and operational standards of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extend a warm greeting to every customer, creating a positive first impression.
  • Accurately take and repeat orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Handle customer payment with care and integrity, maintaining a secure and transparent transaction process.
  • Count correct change or process a credit card accurately, minimizing errors and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Meet speed targets for drive-thru service, maintaining a fast and efficient pace.
  • Triple-check every order for accuracy, ensuring that every customer receives their order correctly.
  • Be an expert on the menu, answering customer inquiries and making recommendations to enhance the customer experience.
  • Clean restrooms and dining rooms regularly, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Clean and stock the drink and condiment stations, ensuring that all areas of the restaurant are well-maintained.
  • Check the parking lot for trash and ensure it is clean, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers and colleagues in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Ability to provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for customers, creating a positive and memorable experience.
  • Ability to accurately take and repeat orders, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Familiarity with the menu, with the ability to answer customer inquiries and make recommendations to enhance the customer experience.
  • Understanding of basic cleaning and maintenance practices, with the ability to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to withstand temperatures of 0 degrees Fahrenheit or less and 100 degrees Fahrenheit or more, with the ability to work in a variety of environments.
  • Ability to move throughout the restaurant for extended periods, with the ability to stand, walk, and move with ease.
  • Ability to move 50 lbs. for distances of up to 10 feet, with the ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
  • Ability to balance and move up to 25 lbs. for distances of up to 50 feet, with the ability to navigate uneven terrain.
  • Ability to understand and respond to team members' and guests' requests in a loud environment, with the ability to communicate effectively in a variety of situations.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, with the ability to perform a variety of tasks.
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, with the ability to navigate a variety of environments.
  • Ability to talk or hear, taste or smell, with the ability to perform a variety of tasks.
  • Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
