Role Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and proactive engineer to become part of our sales team. The primary focus will be on nurturing relationships with current clients while also seeking new business opportunities. This position encompasses responsibilities such as application engineering, sales assistance, and field service activities, all within a dynamic and results-driven environment.

The role includes thorough training and mentorship designed to enhance your skills and familiarize you with CaptiveAire's products, market strategies, application engineering methodologies, and sales techniques.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Offer application engineering and design assistance for various ventilation projects.
  • Collaborate with Engineers, Contractors, End Users, and Food Service Dealers.
  • Manage inside sales support, application engineering, and outside sales activities on a daily basis.
  • Present technical information, prepare quotes, submit proposals, provide technical assistance, and troubleshoot on-site.
  • Advocate for CaptiveAire products through diverse channels, including meetings, presentations, and demonstrations.
  • Identify and develop new business prospects.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service with an emphasis on quick response times.

Required Expertise:

  • 0-5 years of relevant experience.
  • A technical degree in mechanical, electrical, construction, or a physics-related discipline.
  • Preferably, familiarity with HVAC/Psychrometrics.
  • Proficient in computer skills, organization, communication, and presentation delivery.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for customer engagement.
  • Enthusiasm for embracing new technologies and business insights.
  • A drive for success and a proactive approach.
  • Willingness to travel for training purposes.
  • A proactive 'go-getter' mindset is essential.
