Position Overview:

We are in search of a proficient Business Intelligence Solutions Architect with significant expertise in transitioning from Tableau to Power BI. The selected candidate will be tasked with the design, development, and implementation of business intelligence frameworks that harness the full potential of Power BI, ensuring a smooth migration from Tableau.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Migration Strategy: Formulate and implement a detailed migration plan from Tableau to Power BI, encompassing data source integration, visualization transfer, and validation processes.
  • Architectural Design: Create and deploy scalable and effective Power BI architectures that align with organizational needs.
  • Data Integration: Establish and oversee data connections, guaranteeing data accuracy and uniformity across multiple sources.
  • Dashboard Creation: Develop engaging and visually compelling dashboards and reports utilizing Power BI, ensuring alignment with user expectations and business objectives.
  • Performance Enhancement: Refine Power BI solutions for optimal performance, scalability, and user experience.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Engage closely with business stakeholders to comprehend their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • User Training and Support: Offer training and assistance to end-users to facilitate the successful implementation of Power BI.
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of the migration process, architectural designs, and best practices.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling. Familiarity with Tableau and its migration processes to Power BI.
  • Analytical Expertise: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to interpret intricate data sets and extract valuable insights.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years in business intelligence and data analytics, with at least 2 years dedicated to transitioning from Tableau to Power BI.

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with additional data visualization tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R).
  • Understanding of cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS) and big data technologies.
  • Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
  • Experience in managing BI projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Relevant certifications in Power BI or other BI tools are advantageous.
