Job Title: Business Intelligence Solutions Architect

Job Overview:

Falcon Smart IT is in search of a proficient Business Intelligence Solutions Architect with a robust background in transitioning from Tableau to Power BI. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in crafting, developing, and executing business intelligence frameworks that utilize the full potential of Power BI, ensuring a smooth migration from Tableau.

Key Responsibilities:

Migration Strategy:

Formulate and implement a detailed migration plan from Tableau to Power BI, encompassing data source integrations, visualization transitions, and thorough testing protocols.

Architectural Design:

Design and deploy scalable and effective Power BI architectures that align with organizational needs.

Data Integration Management:

Establish and oversee data connections, guaranteeing data accuracy and consistency across diverse sources.

Dashboard Creation:

Develop interactive and visually engaging dashboards and reports using Power BI, ensuring alignment with user expectations and business objectives.

Performance Enhancement:

Refine Power BI solutions for optimal performance, scalability, and user experience.

Collaboration with Stakeholders:

Engage closely with business stakeholders to comprehend their requirements and translate them into actionable technical specifications.

User Training and Support:

Deliver training and ongoing support to end-users to facilitate the successful adoption of Power BI.

Documentation Maintenance:

Ensure comprehensive documentation of the migration journey, architectural frameworks, and best practices.

Essential Qualifications:

Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling. Proven experience with Tableau and its migration processes to Power BI.

Analytical Expertise: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the aptitude to interpret complex datasets and extract valuable insights.

Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Experience Requirement:

A minimum of 5 years in business intelligence and data analytics, with at least 2 years dedicated to transitioning from Tableau to Power BI.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with additional data visualization tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R). Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS) and big data technologies. Understanding of data governance and security best practices. Experience in managing BI projects, including planning, execution, and delivery. Relevant certifications in Power BI or other BI tools are advantageous.

Educational Background:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
