Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Direct and oversee the field service team at the assigned location, fostering a collaborative and customer-focused environment. Establish clear performance expectations and conduct regular evaluations.
  • Service Operations Management: Organize and schedule field service visits to fulfill customer needs and service agreements. Address complex technical challenges promptly and effectively, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Technician Coordination: Optimize technician schedules and resource allocation, communicating assignments clearly to field staff.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, serving as the primary contact for escalated issues. Collaborate with sales to identify additional service opportunities.
  • Quality Control: Implement and uphold quality assurance protocols to ensure consistent service delivery. Conduct regular inspections and audits of field service work.
  • Inventory Oversight: Manage the inventory of spare parts and equipment necessary for field operations, coordinating procurement to ensure uninterrupted service.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of field service activities, including service reports and customer feedback. Generate regular performance reports for site management.

Qualifications:

The ideal Field Service Site Lead will be an experienced professional with a hands-on approach, capable of leading operations effectively to support growth and maximize potential.

Required qualifications include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of field service experience in technical or engineering support, or relevant military experience.
  • Understanding of customer service principles, quality standards, and customer satisfaction evaluation.
  • Knowledge of business management principles related to strategic planning and resource allocation.
  • Familiarity with machinery and tools, including their design, use, and maintenance.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in overseeing field service tasks.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and service management software.
